Position Title: Human Resources Manager
Glass and Mirror Craft (G MC) is one of the Top 30 fabricators of custom glass, metal and engineered solutions in North America. For over 25 years, our architectural systems have been deployed on stunning high-rise and monumental building projects across the country.
G MC’s HR team’s main focus is taking care of our People, which seems like a simple task but involves many key functions. G MC truly believes in providing the right tools that are needed in order for their People to develop into whatever role they may be in or want to be in within the organization.
G MC is looking for an experienced HR Manager that has the skill set and background necessary in order for G MC to continue its company growth and future business plans. The HR Manager will be teamed up with G MC’s People Manager and will be responsible for the HR functions that require previous HR work experience as well as being a mentor to G MC’s People Manager with their development.
The HR Manager will be a part of the Leadership Team and will work closely with other Managers and Supervisors, throughout every department within the organization. G MC is looking for a HR Manager that can bring new ideas and eventually implement these ideas to strengthen not only the HR department, but the entire organization. The HR Manager role demands a highly organized team player with strong problem solving and excellent communication skills as well as someone that has the drive to get work done without being micromanaged.

Description of the work:
· Promote our culture both externally and internally, you will become one of the prominent faces of Glass and Mirror Craft.
· You will be the key connection between our teams at Glass and Mirror Craft (sales, operations, customer success, maintenance) and be seen as the go-to person for HR needs.
· Our Team Members will view you as one of the resources they have to provide them with what they need to not only be successful but also love working here.
· Responsible for G MC’s Safety tasks including but not limited to, creating an annual budget, weekly inventory of safety supplies, ordering safety supplies, worker’s compensation claims, updating Material Data Safety Sheets, and submitting annual safety data to OSHA.
· Must be able to hold other Managers and Supervisors accountable in regards to completing their tasks such as team member reviews, attendance & discipline, and developing their team members.
· Develop new and innovative sourcing strategies that the People Manager can use for recruiting new talent.
· Assist with internal events and activities that G MC has throughout the year.
· Working with G MC’s President and People Manager to understand the learning and development needs of the organization and potential improvements.
· Ability to handle important HR functions that require constant attention, which includes but not limited to employee relations, compensation & benefits, unemployment claims, and annual EEOC reporting.
Qualifications
· 5 years of HR experience in a manufacturing environment and with a company that employed 100 team members
· 4 year college degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
· SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP is highly desired
· Previous work experience managing and developing HR team members
· Thorough knowledge of employment related laws and regulations
· Must have excellent communication, problem solving, negotiation, conflict resolution, and organizational skills

Pay: $85,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
