What are the responsibilities and job description for the ASSISTANT BRANCH MANAGER position at Glass City Federal Credit Union?
Position Type / Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Business days and hours are Monday through Thursday 8 a.m. - 5 p.m., Friday until 6 p.m. and Saturday 9 a.m. - 12 p.m.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
Assist the Branch Manager with overall operation of the branch office. Assume full responsibility for the operation of the branch during any absence of the Branch Manager.
Oversee branch operations including, but not limited to : answering questions, responding to member requests, problems and complaints, initialing checks, providing system overrides and troubleshooting outages.
Conduct branch meetings to discuss changes in procedures, new developments or services, and to present general information.
Cross-sell all services of the credit union to members at every opportunity.
Qualifications :
- Minimum of a high school diploma or a general education degree (GED) plus a minimum of two years related experience and / or training in customer service, preferably a financial institution.
- Preferred candidate with eighteen to twenty-four months of supervisory experience.
