We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Glass Technician to join our team. Responsibilities
- Install glass in windows, doors, and other structures according to specifications.
- Measure and cut glass to fit specific dimensions and requirements.
- Repair or replace damaged glass in existing installations.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively during installation processes.
- Read blueprints and technical drawings to understand project requirements.
- Collaborate with other construction professionals on-site to ensure timely project completion.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency.
- Assist in remodeling projects that involve glass installations or repairs.
Experience
- Proven experience working with hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment is essential.
- Familiarity with blueprint reading is highly desirable for interpreting project plans accurately.
- Experience in metal stud framing, trim carpentry, frame carpentry, or maintenance person tasks is a plus.
- Previous work on construction sites or involvement in remodeling projects will be beneficial.
