Automotive Glass Technician Apprentice

Job Summary
We are seeking an Automotive Glass Technician Apprentice to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a desire to learn auto glass installation and repair, with a focus on integrity, excellent workmanship, and customer service. This role requires mechanical knowledge and the ability to work with various tools and equipment in a fast-paced dynamic environment.

Duties

• Install, repair, and replace automotive glass, including windshields, side windows, and rear windows.
• Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify glass-related issues.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to ensure precise installations.
• Collaborate with team members to maintain a safe and organized work environment.
• Willingness to learn ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems).
• Assist in vehicle maintenance tasks related to glass repairs.
• Willingness to learn the trade according to industry standards and company policies.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns.

Experience

• Previous experience in auto glass installation or related fields such as auto body repair or vehicle maintenance is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with ADAS technology is a plus.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively.
• Experience using hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during installations.
• Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
