Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Inventory Technician to support the Lab Coordinator and Inventory Control Specialist in managing inventory processes, ensuring the accurate receiving, tracking, labeling, and organization of biomass and packaging materials. The Inventory Technician will play a key role in maintaining smooth operations and contributing to the efficient distribution and management of inventory items.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

- Assist the Lab Coordinator with receiving, distributing, and documenting biomass shipments.
- Verify and reconcile incoming biomass shipments to ensure accuracy and quality.
- Maintain accurate inventory counts for biomass, packaging materials, and other related supplies.
- Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure stock levels are up to date.
- Label and organize biomass and packaging materials for easy identification and access.
- Track stock levels and report discrepancies, shortages, or damages to the Lab Coordinator and Inventory Control Specialist.
- Assist in organizing and maintaining a clean, efficient storage area for biomass and packaging materials.
- Support the Inventory Control Specialist with inventory management of packaging materials, including labels, jars, lids, tins, case packs, and tampers.
- Help monitor and reorder packaging materials to avoid stockouts and ensure smooth production operations.
- Ensure all items are stored in compliance with safety and regulatory guidelines.
- Collaborate with team members to resolve inventory-related issues and improve workflow efficiency.
- Communicate effectively with other departments to ensure accurate inventory reporting and coordination.
- Assist in preparing and processing outgoing shipments of biomass and packaging materials when needed.
- Perform other work as assigned.

- Basic computer skills, including proficiency with inventory management software or Microsoft Office Suite.
Required:
- Must be 21 years old.
- Experience using hand and electrical tools
- Physical stamina and dexterity
- Must be a self-starter with minimal supervision, able to work independently and in a team environment
- This position requires a 40-hour minimum work week
- Flexible availability for work hours.
- Willingness to work weekends.
