Role Summary
The Fulfillment & Logistics Lead supports inventory management and logistics for our cannabis operations, ensuring compliance with state regulations and contributing to efficient production and distribution. This hands-on role focuses on maintaining accurate inventory records, monitoring stock levels, coordinating with departments, and assisting with demand forecasting. Key areas of emphasis include inventory control, efficient fulfillment, and managing replacement and replenishment practices to meet operational and wholesale supply needs.

Key Responsibilities
Inventory & Record Management
- Lead the maintenance of accurate inventory records, conducting regular audits to ensure data integrity and minimize discrepancies
- Track inventory levels and manage stock to meet customer demand while preventing overstock
- Support the receiving process by inspecting and verifying deliveries for accuracy and quality, ensuring products meet company standards
- Restock the fulfillment center and vault room to maintain product availability
- Collaborate with the sales team to forecast demand and adjust inventory plans accordingly
- Lead the fulfillment process by ensuring timely and accurate preparation and shipment of customer orders
- Work closely with production and sales teams to ensure that fulfillment efforts align with customer demand
- Assist in optimizing workflows to ensure efficient order processing and minimize delays
- Help manage the transportation and delivery process, ensuring products are delivered on time and cost-effectively
- Coordinate with carriers to ensure efficient and timely delivery routes
- Monitor delivery schedules and help reduce potential delays
- Lead the preparation and organization of transport manifests for deliveries, ensuring accurate documentation
- Coordinate transportation logistics and support in the execution of delivery plans
- Ensure all inventory, fulfillment, and delivery operations comply with state cannabis regulations
- Maintain accurate records and help generate necessary compliance reports
- Work closely with production, sales, and other departments to ensure fulfillment and logistics efforts align with company goals
- Provide updates to management on inventory and fulfillment performance, challenges, and opportunities for improvement
- Minimum of 1–3 years in fulfillment, logistics, or inventory management, preferably in a regulated industry like cannabis or CPG
- Familiarity with inventory management systems (e.g., Metrc)
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with great attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Google Sheets
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, evolving industry while maintaining compliance
- Commit to ensuring efficient and compliant fulfillment and logistics operations
- Thrive in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment with changing priorities
- Maintain professionalism and uphold company standards and values
- Be physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs. and performing tasks like bending, squatting, and reaching
- Comply with all state regulations, including obtaining necessary cannabis handler permissions
- Must be at least 21 years old to comply with state regulations
- Willingness to undergo background checks, fingerprinting and able to obtain ID badging clearance per New Jersey Cannabis Regulatory Commission (NJ CRC) terms
- Knowledge of cannabis regulations and compliance requirements within an evolving industry
