Glass Mountain Delivery, LLC, a national provider of logistics services, is looking for reliable Delivery Drivers to join our growing team in New Windsor, NY.
Become a Delivery Driver for a contracted Amazon Delivery Service Partner (DSP) and work full or part-time weekdays, weekends, and some holidays! We offer competitive pay of $21.50/hour with the ability to earn additional performance-based incentives.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods from warehouses or distribution centers to designated locations in a timely manner.
Station Location: 500 Hudson Valley Avenue, New Windsor, NY 12553
Report time for this delivery driver position will be 11:00 AM. Shifts range on average from 7 to 9 hours per day.
What does a Delivery Driver do?
- Operate delivery vehicles, such as cargo vans
- Load and unload packages from delivery vehicles
- Drive to various locations following pre-scheduled Amazon delivery routes
- Provide excellent customer service during deliveries
- Perform basic maintenance checks on vehicles
- Follow strict safety standards on and off the road
- Maintain a clean driving record
- Interact with Amazon's customers and the public in a positive and professional manner
Experience and Requirements
- Proficient in handheld technology, such as smart phones
- Prior experience as a Delivery Driver is preferred, but not required
- MUST be 21 years of age or older
- MUST possess a valid U.S. Driver's License
- Knowledge of warehouse operations is a plus
- Strong customer service and organizational skills
- Excellent time management
- Ability to lift and move heavy items (up to 50 lbs) safely and efficiently
