GCDC is looking for Assistant Group Leaders for our school age programs!
Position hours are Monday through Friday from 2:30-6PM, a total of 17.50 hours weekly.
POTENTIAL EARNINGS up to $314/week!
We are seeking FUN and MOTIVATED assistant group leaders who are familiar with school age child development and can assist our program in the before/after school setting! Assistant Group Leaders assist in group activities, homework help, indoor/outdoor play, and other fun activities as we continue the learning fun well beyond the school day!

curriculum and activities for each assigned group, maintenance of classroom and program space, support
of social/emotional/language/physical development of each child.

Job Requirements
- Experience: Prefer one year experience working with children
- Education/Certification: Prefer HS diploma; CPR/First Aid required
- Knowledge/Training: Prefer knowledge of child development
- Physical/Health: Must be in good physical and mental health
- Professional Development: Must complete minimum 12 hours of relevant annual training each
- Work Hours/Environment: School district or private classroom, 20-40 hours per week and must
- Relationships: children, team members, site director, school district personnel, GCDC
DAILY DUTIES
- Greet each child and family and assist with communicating information/concerns to family
- Promote the health and safety of everyone in the program
- Provide active supervision of all program/classroom indoor and outdoor activities
- Assist with conducting and recording observations of all children
- Prepare classroom/program materials for activities, including meals
- Assist with bathroom and personal care routines as needed
Rate of pay: $17.98 per hour
