What are the responsibilities and job description for the Security Guard (School Security Aide) position at Glassboro Public School District?
GHS is seeking a Security Guard for the 2024-2025 School Year.
Working Hours - 5-Hour Evening Shift (Ex 2 pm to 7 pm or 3 pm to 8 pm)
Note - This is a ten-month position (September-June)
Responsibilities:
- Maintaining rules and regulations
- Ensuring building entrances remain locked and doors un-propped at all times
- Performing periodic safety checks throughout the halls
- Provide continual monitoring of the halls during the course of the shift
- Check-in visitors, facilitate student pick-ups, and accept deliveries
Minimum Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED preferred; some experience in working with children.
- Previous experience in the field of security is preferred.
- High interpersonal relationship skills in dealing with fellow professionals, students, and parents
- Successful Completion of Fingerprinting and Criminal History Review Process
