The Business Intelligence Analyst will be responsible for transforming data into actionable insights that support business strategy, optimize performance, and drive informed decision-making. This role will serve as a key bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders, ensuring that data assets are effectively leveraged to solve complex business challenges and identify opportunities for growth and efficiency.
What will you do?
Business Problem Solving & Strategic Insights
Identify and analyze business challenges, uncover root causes, and provide data-driven recommendations.
Use predictive analytics and forecasting models to identify trends, optimize performance, and support strategic planning.
Partner with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for revenue growth, cost reduction, and operational efficiency.
Effectively communicate findings and insights to both technical and non-technical audiences through presentations and reports.
Advanced Data Analysis & Interpretation
Extract data from multiple internal and external sources, ensuring data quality and accuracy by cleaning and transforming it for analysis using SQL and Python
Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) to uncover trends, anomalies, and correlations using Python and associated analytics libraries such as Pandas, NumPy and SciPy.
Design and maintain data models to optimize data access and analysis.
Design, build, and maintain ETL pipelines to automate data ingestion and processing.
Work with cloud-based data solutions (e.g., Google BigQuery, AWS Redshift, Snowflake) to manage large-scale datasets efficiently.
Dashboarding & Data Storytelling
Develop interactive dashboards and reports using data visualization tools (PowerBI, Tableau, Looker) to present findings in a clear and concise manner for decision-making.
Create data-driven narratives and visualizations that clearly communicate insights to non-technical stakeholders.
Perform A/B testing, KPI tracking and impact analysis to measure business performance against goals
Process Improvement & Strategy Support
Work closely with different departments and stakeholders to understand business needs and identify relevant data points for analysis.
Translate data analysis results into actionable insights and recommendations for business strategy and operations improvement.
Present findings and actionable recommendations to senior leadership in a clear and compelling way.
Conduct competitive analysis and market research to provide insights into industry trends.

How will you get here?
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Analytics, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Experience working with cloud-based data platforms and tools such as GCP’s BigQuery, AWS Redshift or Snowflake.
- Experience in Python or R for data modeling, automation, and advanced analytics.
- Proven experience using SQL to extract and manipulate data.
