Field Vice President, Specialty Business Unit
Location : Field-Based (Northeast - New Jersey up to Maine)
Within the Specialty Business Unit (SBU), our priority is to deliver on our pipeline and expand it. To be successful, we need to deliver with our in-line brand and indications and prepare for upcoming launches, including the COPD indication in 1H 2025 and potential dual indication launch in 2025. This is an exciting time for the Specialty business in the US as we invest in expanding our teams. This role reports directly to the Vice President of Sales.
Key Responsibilities :
- Accelerating growth with in-line brand(s) and leading successful launches of new GSK Specialty assets for optimal sales growth.
- Providing leadership, coaching, in-field support, and operational direction to a team of Regional Sales Directors.
- Developing and executing a cross-functional business plan aligned with brand strategy and tactical objectives.
- Leading and collaborating across matrix partners (brand, medical, patient services, market access, tech, legal, compliance, etc.) to drive collaborative impact.
- Driving organizational change and galvanizing teams to accelerate the change management curve to achieve business objectives.
- Defining, refining, and executing strategic direction, advocating / influencing resource allocation to meet local market needs.
- Attracting, recruiting, and retaining high-caliber team members, providing management and leadership to direct and indirect reports, including coaching and career development.
- Driving a culture of sales excellence and continuous improvement.
- Adapting to the changing pharmaceutical landscape and integrating new capabilities (e.g., AI integration).
