About the Role
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work independently, and possess a strong attention to detail. This position requires frequent travel by automobile, with daily driving distances potentially reaching up to 100 miles.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement effective merchandising strategies to maximize space allocation in retail accounts.
- Participate in the development of retail accounts through display service, ensuring maximum visibility and product awareness.
- Deliver product merchandise as required, utilizing safe and efficient methods.
- Perform merchandising warehouse duties as needed, adhering to safety protocols and procedures.
- Advise the Sales Merchandising Manager and assigned Sales Representative of any service problems encountered.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of safety rules and requirements in the workplace, reporting any incidents, injuries, or illnesses immediately.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- 6 months to 1 year of experience in merchandising or as a warehouse worker.
- Valid state motor vehicle operator's license.
- Ability to obtain and maintain auto-liability insurance in accordance with State laws.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Working Conditions
- Physical demands include occasional walking, carrying, reaching, standing, and stooping.
- Ability to frequently lift or move 40-50 pound cartons and stand for extended periods.
