What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part-Time Warehouse Janitor position at Glazer's Beer and Beverage of TX, LLC?
We are looking for a dedicated and reliable Warehouse Janitor to join our Team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in our facilities, ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for all employees and visitors. They will clean and maintain buildings/facilities to ensure compliance with sanitation regulations.
Our Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Knowledge of safety hazards and proper use of various cleaning and sanitizing solutions.
- Ability to interact with staff and visitors while remaining professional, polite, and courteous.
Your Responsibilities:
- Performs general cleaning and janitorial duties in the common areas of the building.
- Able to work safely with a variety of cleaning supplies.
- Maintains a neat and orderly janitor’s room; ensures cleaning and maintenance supplies are stocked.
- Assists in cleaning and sanitizing restrooms and break area.
- Clean the interior of buildings including floors, carpet, rugs, windows, and walls
- Disinfect commonly used items like desks, door handles, and office tools.
- Empty trash and recycling bins.
- Dust furniture and fixtures.
- Notify supervisors of unsafe conditions.
- Work in accordance with all safety regulations of the facility.
- Attend safety meetings and take safety courses, as needed.
- Coordinate work with other team members.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods standing.
- Must be able to lift, bend, stoop, climb, reach, and lift up to 50 pounds at a time.
