**Job Description:**
As an Indirect Procurement Category Manager at Glazier Foods Company, you will play a critical role in driving collaboration with key stakeholders and suppliers to execute short and long-term strategies that ensure optimal cost, quality, and service levels for indirect products and services.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Performing category management informed by knowledge of current trends, internal and external data, and feedback from engaged relationships with GFS divisions, specialty companies, and other business units.
- Ensuring optimal connectivity to business owners and providing input into the sourcing process.
- Driving compliance for designated spend category by ensuring stakeholder use of preferred suppliers as well as supplier alignment to negotiated agreements.
- Leading deployment of Source-to-Pay digital transformation for designated focus area, including development of supplier enablement and catalog strategies.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a minimum of ten years of previous experience in procurement, operations, and/or other supply chain discipline. A Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Business Management, or related field is also required. Operations, procurement, finance certifications are preferred.
In addition, you will need to possess strong negotiation abilities, problem-solving skills, and working knowledge of vendor communities. Proficient analytical skills to analyze and interpret data related to industry trends, supplier pricing, stakeholder needs, etc. are also required.
