Glazing Concepts Inc. is a growing, full-service commercial glazing contractor (Glass, Aluminum storefront, doors & hardware etc.) based in Corona, CA that serves all of Southern California. GCI offers its employees on the job training, as well as the chance to become a skilled tradesman in the construction industry! We are known for the great care we take with clients and employees alike.
The Position: A Journeyman Glazier for Glazing Concepts is totally responsible for the successful completion, at or under budget, of every job assigned to him, from pre-construction meeting to punch list! The Journeyman Glazier is expected to be a working manager on jobs for which they are responsible and a skilled and cooperative co-worker on other jobs to which they are assigned. In the shop, fabricates storefront windows and frames, doors and frames, ribbon windows and curtain walls, to spec, includes warehousing and cutting and handling of all kinds of glass. The Journeyman Glazier is the company’s front line of defense on tracking and controlling the number of man-hours and materials used in each project. The Journeyman Glazier is also the company’s front line of defense on identifying and initiating change orders from the original scope-of-work.
Job Requirements:
- Applicant must have glazing experience in Commercial Glazing
- Applicant must be 18 years or older to apply
- Applicant must have the physical ability to climb ladders and scaffolding, work outdoors, and lift tools and materials up to 50 lbs. typically used in commercial construction.
- Applicants must have a valid CA driver’s license.
