What are the responsibilities and job description for the Shipping and Receiving Clerk position at Glazing Concepts Inc?
Key Responsibilities / Duties
• Manages the shipment and receipt of all products, materials, and supplies.
• Receive/Check-in/Put away all Purchase Orders on the same day they arrive. All received items must be logged in Trello each day. All items received must be put into the vertical storage area or into a tote marked with the projects name on the job shelf.
• Communicated with all required GCI departments involved in the shipment and receipt of orders.
• Tracks, traces, and updates the status of incoming and outgoing shipments.
• Maintains a clean, neat, and organized area.
• Promptly unloads trucks and deliveries, and sorts and stocks as required.
• Maintains Shipping & Receiving Board in Trello.
• Engages vendors, drivers, and fellow GCI employees with a positive attitude.
• Provides additional backup support to Operations department.
• Complete training and regularly utilize the following software programs:
Microsoft Teams/Trello
• Daily office/shop/yard cleaning duties.
