The Office Manager plays a critical role responsible for streamlining administrative functions across departments, ensuring the smooth operation of our organizational processes. This role centralizes support for scheduling, travel coordination, event logistics, and reception management. Reporting to the Assistant Director of Operations and Administration, the Office Manager will collaborate with team members to optimize operational efficiency while upholding GLAD Law’s commitment to equity and inclusion.
This position is an exempt position reporting to the Assistant Director of Operations and Administration, and is based at GLAD Law’s Boston office.
Responsibilities
- Coordinating travel : Coordinate and make travel arrangements for staff, including booking flights, lodging, and transportation, while adhering to organizational policies.
- Event Support : Provide logistical support for virtual and in-person events, including managing registrations, researching venues, and coordinating necessary materials. Support Guest Experience functions, interact with Guests via telephone, email, and social media to answer questions, resolve issues and gather feedback.
- Reception Duties : Sharing reception duties with Finance and Operations Coordinator, serve as the first point of contact for incoming visitors, inquiries via phone, email, and mail, ensuring prompt and professional responses.
- Administrative Support : Provide general administrative assistance to departments, ensuring consistency and efficiency in workflows.
Assists Management team with recruitment functions such as job postings and interview scheduling
