RN 7A-7P, 36 hrs weekly
travel pay: $25/hr taxable $1288 non taxable = $2188 weekly gross
OT: $70 /hr
Local:$53/hr OT: $79.50/hr
Candidate will be working in the rehab unit of an LTC/Rehab facility. Must have STRONG Experience with Post Acute/Med Surg/SNF patients. This is a HIGH ACUITY unit; very busy.
Job Duties:
· Assessing, observing, and speaking to patients
· Recording details and symptoms of patient medical history and current health
· Preparing patients for exams and treatments
· Administering medications and treatments, then monitoring patients for side effects and reactions
· Creating, implementing, and evaluating patient care plans with medical team
· Performing wound care, such as cleaning and bandaging them
· Assisting in medical procedures as needed
· Drawing blood, urine samples, and other body fluids for lab work
· Educating patients and family members on treatment and care plans, as well as answering their questions
· Supervising licensed practical and vocational nurses, nursing assistants, and nursing students
· Entering proper documentation into facility specific EMR computer systems
· Maintains work operations by following facility policies and procedures
· Follow all departmental policies and procedures as well as safety, environmental, and infection control standards.
· Maintain strict resident and employee confidentiality in compliance with HIPPAA guidelines
