Summary of Position:
The Office Manager handles essential office and human resource functions including benefits, payroll, purchase orders, accounts payable, and accounts receivable. The position requires a high level of personal organization, accuracy, and time management. The Office Manager reports to the Chief Financial Officer and manages the Office Assistant.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities will include the following: Duties may be modified, or additional duties assigned.
- Process payroll on a bi-weekly basis
- Maintain HRIS
- Onboard and Offboard employees
- Serve as the key employee contact for benefits including insurance, wellness and 401k
- Manage Office Assistant in the processing of accounts receivable and account payable
- Maintain employee handbooks and related policies
- Support the CFO and others with benefit and payroll related analyses
- Manage contracts and relationships with HR and Office vendors
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration or human resources, or a related field
- Minimum five years of experience in an Office Manager or similar role
- Ability to independently manage one’s own time to meet deadlines
- Positive attitude to serve internal and external customers
- Ability to exert sound judgment, discretion and preserve confidentiality
- Excellent Excel, Power Point, Word and Outlook skills
