Travel Nurse RN Med Surg Job Description
About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Travel Nurse RN to join our team in Mayfield, Kentucky. As a Travel Nurse RN, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to ensure excellent patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to Med Surg patients, including administering medications, wound care, and other treatments as needed
- Assess patient conditions, develop care plans, and implement interventions to improve patient outcomes
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare staff
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient progress and treatment plans
Requirements
- Degree: Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing
- Licensure: Current RN licensure in the state of practice
- Experience: At least 1 year of experience as a Med Surg RN, preferably in a travel nursing setting
- Certifications: BLS certification, possibly additional certifications based on facility requirements
