Title: Integration Engineer

Location: Hybrid, based in Carlsbad, CA (In Office 3 days and Remote 2 days)
Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time
We’re looking for an Integration Specialist who will join our software deployment and support team in our Carlsbad, CA office. This is not a remote position and team members work from the Carlsbad office three days per week.
Candidates should be experienced with third-party software integration and support, possess strong communication and project management skills. Networking and software technical skills are a must! Hands on experience with networking including installing, configuring, training, and supporting integration with third party systems using SOAP, RESTful and proprietary APIs is preferred, but not required. Candidates must be hard-working, focused, flexible, thick-skinned, and able to roll with the punches.
What you'll do
- Understand complex use cases, and development environments as you deploy and troubleshoot highly technical software integrations.
- Consult, project manage, and help strategically direct the integration of third-party products with GLDS solutions.
- Assist GLDS customers and partners in their effort to integrate their solutions with existing GLDS interfaces.
- Troubleshoot, guide, direct and consult with partners and with internal GLDS support stakeholders to ensure smooth functioning of integrated GLDS solutions.
- Participate, as needed, in the GLDS sales process, consulting on specification integration points relative to specific customer/partner projects.
- Work in a team environment with significant opportunities for input into a world-class product used by hundreds of broadband service providers worldwide.
- Perform remote and on-site product implementation, troubleshooting, configuration, and training for our broadband provisioning software platform. Travel should average no more than 25% and won't likely be required for the first 6-12 months of employment.
- Provide expert troubleshooting and technical support to our ISP customers for our broadband provisioning software platform.
What you'll have
- Experience in software integration, network engineering, or a similar capacity.
- Ability to manage long-cycle, technically oriented software integration projects.
- Skilled at working effectively with cross-functional teams in a matrix organization.
- A willingness to learn, fail and iterate to come to the right solutions for all stakeholders.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Positive attitude with excellent customer service skills
- BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or equivalent preferred, or strong similar career equivalent experience.
- Ability to travel as necessary, <25%

What to expect
The interview process for successful candidates will be a phone interview followed by a virtual interview, with a final in-person interview in our Carlsbad, CA office. References will be requested.
