Gleam Electric is growing and we want you on our team! As a thriving and growing electrical and lighting contracting company with over 6 years in business, we are in search of qualified applicants to assist with our ever growing work load.
The successful applicant will own the following assortment of skills plus 5 or more years of experience as a lead electrician in the commercial/industrial industry: The applicant will be able to read plans, manage time, materials, and team members, and will be a concise and competent leader who is excited to grow more leaders.
Responsibilities of Foreman
- Oversee and manage electrical projects from start to finish.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans.
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, and other trades to ensure project success.
- Supervise a team of electricians and provide guidance and support.
- Ensure compliance with electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards.
- Conduct quality control inspections to maintain high standards of workmanship.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues and provide effective solutions.
- Ability to direct report to project managers
- Ability to run large crews
Job Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (Include but are not limited to):
- Proven experience as an Electrical Foreman or similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, components, and equipment.
- Underground electrical construction experience
- Experience in Commercial/Industrial settings.
- Heavy equipment experience.
- Understands utility locates, potholing, and ensures human and network safety.
- Proficient in blueprint reading and interpreting construction plans.
- Full knowledge and understanding of electrical codes and regulations.
- Detailed-orientated with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Valid drivers license.
- Some travel required.
- Required OSHA 10, Lock out tag out training, first aid and CPR certified
Essential Physical Requirements (Include but are not limited to):
- Must be able and willing to work indoors/outdoors and in inclement weather conditions.
- Must be able to lift and carry materials of all shapes and sizes, weighing 50-100 pounds
