What are the responsibilities and job description for the Automotive Detailer position at Gleam Mobile Detailing?
The Gleam Mobile Detailing team is looking for someone to fill a full time or part time position. You will work with used cars and the equipment needed to clean, steam, shampoo, and condition the car to as new as possible. You will work by yourself at times, as well as with a team mate You will be expected to complete the job at a high satisfactory level and in a timely manner.
This position is perfect for college students in Utah county. If you are looking for a way to work a part time job into your busy school schedule, this will work great. We can accommodate the best we can to make it a win-win for everyone.
Pay
Pay will be $17/hour with opportunities for raises. Tips are usually received on a daily basis and vary in size. Bonuses are also available during most appointments as well as commission.
Requirements
- Valid Drivers License and transportation
- High levels of attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate effectively and set expectations
- Complete tasks in a timely manner and take pride in your work.
- Requires frequent bending, reaching, repetitive hand movements, standing, walking, squatting, and sitting, with some heavy lifting, pushing, and pulling exerted regularly throughout a regular work shift,
- High level of Discipline and integrity to not cut corners when no one is watching.
Scheduling is flexible to fit your needs.

Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client needs and preferences.
- Perform thorough car washes and detailing, including buffing and cleaning both interior and exterior surfaces.
- Safely operate vehicles to move cars within the facility as needed.
- Handle heavy lifting of equipment and materials while adhering to safety protocols.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring all tools and supplies are properly stored.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25 – 40 per week
