Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Janitor Technicians to join our team for both 1st and 2nd shifts in Fayetteville, Georgia. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various facilities, ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for all occupants. This role requires attention to detail and a commitment to high standards of cleanliness across commercial spaces.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming in assigned areas.
- Maintain floors through buffing, waxing, and polishing as needed.
- Conduct thorough cleaning of restrooms, break rooms, and common areas to ensure hygiene standards are met.
- Handle waste disposal and recycling in accordance with company policies.
- Respond promptly to cleaning requests from management.
- Ensure all cleaning supplies are stocked and maintained properly.
- Follow safety protocols while using cleaning equipment and chemicals to maintain a safe work environment.
Requirements
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning or custodial services is preferred.
- Familiarity with floor care techniques such as buffing and waxing is a plus.
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high cleanliness standards.
- Good communication skills to interact effectively with team members and facility occupants.
- Ability to work as part of a team and follow detailed instructions.
- Fluency in English; bilingual (Spanish) is a plus
- Ability to work independently and travel between facilities as needed.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills related to janitorial duties.
