What You’ll Do:
- Perform pre-production, in-process, and final inspections of precision parts
- Review job travelers for accuracy and completeness
- Use microscopes and measuring tools to ensure parts meet exact specifications
- Support compliance audits and assist with product testing
- Collaborate with supervisors to prioritize orders and expedite high-need items
- Provide backup support for machine operators as needed
- Document results, flag quality concerns, and help implement solutions
What You Bring:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; trade school preferred
- Prior manufacturing or production experience (inspection experience is a plus)
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Team player with solid communication and problem-solving skills
- Able to function in a fast-paced production environment
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with quality control systems or ISO standards
- Experience using inspection tools (micrometers, calipers, gauges)
- Strong documentation and organizational abilities
