Gleeds are seeking an experienced Project Management Director to lead a team and support the delivery of project management services for construction and industrial projects in the US. This individual will be responsible for leading a project management team, reviewing day-to-day deliverables and managing client expectations.
The successful candidate will be a driven leader with great interpersonal and communication skills.
This role will be based in our Atlanta office .
Responsibilities include but are not limited to :
- Lead communications with the client and oversight of project management services.
- Lead a team of project managers making sure that client deliverables are met.
- Take a lead role in interfacing with the client and other consultants, at all project stages.
- Work with vice presidents to develop proposals for new work or change orders for existing projects.
- Identify opportunities to improve project management procedures, templates and products.
- Knowledge management – Ensure that information and learning generated from each commission is inputted into internal databases and shared.
- Assist in research related to construction market conditions, including analysis of official published data.
- Process improvement – Identify ways to improve internal systems and processes.
- Quality Control – Ensure compliance with quality standards and participation in internal and external audits.
- Support leadership in developing new business opportunities with existing and new clients.
- Attend relevant networking events and other promotional opportunities with peers and vice presidents.
- Support the training and mentoring of current staff and promote upward career trajectory.
- Proactively work with recruitment to identify staffing needs with a focus on retention.
- Actively working to create cross-selling opportunities for other Gleeds services and businesses.
