This role is with GLEESON, in partnership with Smart Chicken, located in Waverly, Nebraska.
Responsibilities:
- Operate mobile crane(s) to lift and place structural steel, machinery, and materials safely and efficiently.
- Perform general construction tasks when not operating the crane, a plus!
- Conduct daily equipment inspections to ensure proper functioning and safety compliance.
- Communicate effectively with riggers and site teams to execute lifts according to project specifications.
- Monitor load capacities and site conditions to maintain safe operations.
Requirements:
- Applicant must possess a valid, current NCCCO TLL certification (Telescopic Boom Crane—Swing Cab).
- Minimum of one year of prior experience as a crane operator is required.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Post-offer, pre-employment drug testing and E-verification are required.
