Glen Cove Boys & Girls Club at Lincoln House Glen Cove, NY 11542 (serving ages 6 - 18 years old), a non-profit youth organization.

Required Hours: 40 hours/ week (full-time). Monday - Friday, 11am-7pm / 12pm-8pm
Teen Program Director: Experience with Teen and Pre-Teen is a must. Responsible for overseeing Teen Programs Department, effectively implementing and maintaining a variety of Teen and pre-teen programs and activities that are fun, engaging and support our priority outcome areas of Academic Success, Healthy Lifestyles, Good Character and Citizenship. Recruitment and participation of teen-aged members, and organization of Clubhouse and off-site special events.
- Develop and implement program strategies and initiatives to achieve organizational goals
- Oversee program operations, including budgeting, resource allocation, and performance evaluation
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to identify program needs and opportunities for improvement
- Lead and supervise a team of program staff, providing guidance and support
- Monitor program outcomes and evaluate effectiveness through data analysis and reporting
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, policies, and procedures
- Foster positive relationships with community partners, volunteers, and other stakeholders
- Represent the organization at meetings, conferences, and events
Experience
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., social work, public service, administration)
- Proven experience in program management or a related role
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Excellent project management abilities, including planning, organizing, and prioritizing tasks
- Demonstrated experience in program development and evaluation
- Proficiency in social media management and marketing strategies
- Knowledge of public health principles and practices
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
- Experience in public speaking and presenting to diverse audiences
- Ability to manage volunteers effectively
