What are the responsibilities and job description for the Group Fitness Director position at Glen Eagle Golf & Country Club Inc?
Glen Eagle Golf & Country Club is searching for a Group Fitness Instructor to join our team as an independent contractor. We are looking for a personal trainer or group fitness pro that can provide total body conditioning classes. We are open to other unique class styles you offer.
As a group class instructor, you will be responsible for assessing the class needs, goals, safety, and health concerns. Must have the ability to make modifications for all levels. Individuals should provide excellent leadership, up-to-date quality instruction, and high energy motivation to members and participants in order to maximize customer satisfaction. Must be professional, and show excellent customer service.
Class Types Needed:
- Strength / Total Body Conditioning
- Mobility / Balance
- Cardio / Aerobics
Required:
- CPR/AED
- Professional liability insurance
- Current Personal Trainer or Group Fitness Certification from a nationally recognized organization such as (AFAA, ACE, NASM, ISSA or ACSM).
- Ability to coach a variety of Fitness Levels in a group setting
Qualifications:
- At least 35 years of experience in the fitness field working with a wide variety of clients.
- Have a great work ethic and self motivated with a true passion for health and fitness.
- Comfortable talking to members and handling concerns.
- Express excellent communication skills to better assist..
- Positive and energetic.
- Willingness to learn and grow.
Schedule:
There are several year round and seasonal time slots available in the morning on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. There are also opportunities to substitute classes and acquire personal training clients
Starting Pay: $50 per 45 minute class
