About You:

• You are an Experienced Veterinary Technician dedicated to outstanding client service and excellent patient care.

• You understand the importance of maintaining a positive, respectful, uplifting hospital culture and genuinely love working with people that share that same value.
• You exhibit strong people skills in managing a tech/assistant team including (but not limited to):
  • Scheduling assistants
  • Coordinating continuing education
  • Recruiting/Hiring/Training new team members
  • Supervising & conflict resolution
  • Performance reviews and performance improvement plans (in conjunction with HM and MDVM)
• You can adapt to the individual needs of each patient and truly want to make a difference.
• You have a strong foundational understanding and can perform the basic responsibilities of a veterinary technician including (but not limited to):
  • Venipuncture
  • Placing IV Catheters
  • Drug Calculations
  • Administration of Medications (IV or other methods)
  • Taking Vitals
  • Gathering Medical History
  • Monitoring Anesthesia
  • Assisting in Surgery and Dentals

Schedule:

• Typically 9am-5pm or 8am-4pm 
  • This can be flexible
• Weekends (when needed to cover for team member's PTO)
  • • Saturday/Sunday Shifts: 7:30a – 2:30p

Compensation:

• $25 (Starting at, based on experience)

Required:

Illinois Licensure

Minimum 4 years experience as a veterinary technician.
