Glen-Gery, one of the nation’s leading brick manufacturers, is looking for a talented and knowledgeable Electrical Technicians to join the team at our plant in Shoemakersville, PA. The ideal candidate will be adept at installing, repairing, troubleshooting and maintaining PLC and/or computer controlled production equipment and controls to include Modicon and Allen Bradley equipment.
Position Summary
The ideal candidate will be adept at installing, repairing, troubleshooting and maintaining PLC and/or computer controlled production equipment and controls to include Modicon and Allen Bradley equipment.
This is a hand’s on job, which includes both mechanical and electrical skills. An ideal candidate would also be able to troubleshoot, repair and perform maintenance on a wide variety of heavy industrial equipment, including hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES
- Must be able to read prints, diagrams, schematics, programs and operating instructions and have a record of dependability and outstanding job attendance
- Must be able to troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on a wide variety of industrial equipment including hydraulics, pneumatics and conveyors
- Troubleshooting
QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience with PLC (Allen Bradley) and/or computer controlled production equipment a plus
- 2-5 years of hands-on electrical maintenance mechanic experience
- Possess experience in AC/DC motor control.
