Basic Function
The Quality/Process Technician is responsible for establishing quality operating standards at the plant. These parameters will ensure the process quality necessary to manufacture our products in a consistent manner. Responsibilities include evaluating all variables, analyzing and improving processes and reducing wasted materials.

The Quality/Process Technician is responsible for establishing quality operating standards at the plant. These parameters will ensure the process quality necessary to manufacture our products in a consistent manner. Responsibilities include evaluating all variables, analyzing and improving processes and reducing wasted materials.
Responsibilities:
- Create quality operating standards to strengthen the culture of quality in the plant.
- Identify process improvements and critical activities for the plant and document key characteristics for promoting quality assurance.
- Document the critical control variables to formalize and preserve a quality process. Communicate results with management and business leaders in the company.
- Establish control criteria and verification of measuring equipment.
- Manage Internal Audits
- Generate action plans in order to increase the degree of compliance within the facility.
- Coordinate corrective, preventive, or quality improvement actions or
- Ensure compliance requirements are followed to reduce the risk of recurring nonconformance .
- Promote the development of market orientation within the plant.
- BS/BA Degree in Engineering or Related Field (Industrial, Quality, or Process)
- Relevant experience (five years) in a manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and claims management
- Knowledge of Management Systems models
- Internal Audit Techniques
