What are the responsibilities and job description for the Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Assisted Living position at Glen Meadows Retirement Community?
$30 - $32 / Hour - PLUS additional shifts differentials!
Part Time; Evenings: 3pm - 11pm; Ask about PRN
$3000 Sign on bonus for FT - $1500 Sign on bonus for PT
Qualifications:
- Active Maryland Practical Nurse licensure required
- One year experience working in Geriatric or Long-Term Care setting preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- CPR certification preferred
- Ability to assess and effectively communicate with residents
Responsibilities and Expectations:
- Plans, directs and provides care to residents according to physician orders and the Plan of Care.
- Administers medications and treatments.
- Performs resident assessments.
- Participates in daily resident rounding.
- May assist with insertion and maintaining of IV therapies for residents.
