COVID-19 Considerations
Screening of all who enter the facility for signs & symptoms of COVID-19, Face covering or mask, Cleaning and disinfecting high frequency touched surfaces. Appropriate staff use of Personal Protection Equipment. Resident and staff testing conducted.

- Assist with the basic needs of an RCFE (Residential Care Facility for the Elderly).
- Provide ethical and respectful care to residents.
- Administer medication to residents in accordance to Title 22 regulations of the California Administrative Code.
- Order and reorder medication for residents, following explicit physician instructions.
- Monitor the resident’s medication administration records and report any errors to the Lead Medication Technician and/or Administrator.
- Progressive documentation and communication with the physician and /or medical professionals.
- Scheduling of resident doctor’s appointments.
- Ensure that residents stay stress-free as much as possible by working with medical professionals in regards to reducing pain while promoting engagement and independence.
- Maintains good composure during emergencies.
- Maintains a safe work environment.
- Mandatory Live-Scan Clearance and TB test and CPR/AED certification are required upon job offer.
- Must also have previous experience as a caregiver who is familiar with managing 20 plus residents within an 8hr shift.
- Compensation is based on experience.
