The Manager, Marketing Production is an integral role supporting all business units within Glen Raven, a 145-year textile manufacturing and marketing leader. This role resides within the Marketing Department, working cross-functionally with Marketing, Sales, Design, Sourcing and Logistics, producing high quality go-to-market print, merchandise and sample tools for our owned brands as well as customer partnerships.
The Manager is someone who excels in a player-coach environment, bringing experienced leadership to internal stakeholders and external suppliers. This leader is well versed in project, process, and data management, and is someone who understands critical on-time and on-budget management. This role will oversee the project pipeline, partnering with Director, Brand Activation and the Sourcing team on strategic management, while also directly managing projects.
This Manager will thrive in a fast-paced environment by demonstrating their refined organization, keen eye for detail and strong communication skills. They’ll be decisive, yet thorough in their scenario and analytical foundations. In addition, this leader will encompass a self-starter attitude, is proactive & streamlined with their thinking, motivated by efficiency, is resourceful and values a collaborative environment.
Experience managing print production and sample tools is required, with a strong preference for in-house or supplier experience.
The Manager, Marketing Production will report directly to and work closely with the Director, Brand Activation
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage print, merchandise and sample tool pipeline across brand portfolio
- Partner with Marketing Managers on production requests, ensuring all critical factors are established at onset
- Interprets creative briefs to inform production requirements, sharing recommended approach at kick off
- Comfortable establishing budget and timelines with stakeholders early, managing-to throughout project
- Collaborates directly with creative team on project specifications, negotiating internally to maintain on-time and on-budget executions
- Leads cross-functional milestone meetings, with clear ability to lead, interpret varying perspectives and drive alignment
- Establishes project plan, with stage-gate milestones, providing frequent updates to project lead(s)
- Partners with creative leads and resource managers to assign creative tasks within project milestones
- Manage projects from origination to completion utilizing project management software
- Responsible for maintaining the project plan (on-time) and budget (on-budget) to achieve successful campaign and/or product launches
- Contributes to status meetings by providing critical updates and schedule adjustments
- Effectively communicates with vendors and internal stakeholders, through excellent project management
- Partners on quoting & RFPs with Sourcing, to strategically manage supplier outreach and proposals
- Facilitates purchase orders for necessary projects.
- Manages and orders fabric for necessary projects.
- Assists in reporting on project ROI.
- Works closely with Director, Brand Activation on internal client approach, project and pipeline concerns to seek resolution.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communication or related field, equivalent education, or related training
- PMP certification or studies desired
- 7-10 years professional experience in Business and/or Marketing with focus on project & production management
- Experience with in-house or agency models is strongly preferred
- Experience managing production suppliers is beneficial
- Excellent organization, prioritization, and decision-making skills
- Streamlined, strong communication, interpersonal and leadership skills
- Strong scenario planning and data management
- Self-motivated, strong work ethic and professional character
- Positive and flexible mindset with ability to pivot on shifting priorities

- Advanced computer software proficiency (MS Office Suite, Project Management Software, Adobe Suite)
