What are the responsibilities and job description for the Process Technician II-Yarn position at Glen Raven Material Solutions LLC?
Custom Fabrics, a global leading manufacturer of performance fabrics, is currently seeking candidates for Process Technician II position. This position is required to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair machines to proper working order repairing all flagged machines. This position is open in the Yarn Plant
***Positions available on 2nd shift 3pm to 11pm and 3rd shift 11pm to 7am***
*** Pay starting at $24.46***
Position Requirements:
- 2 years of experience as a manufacturing technician is preferred
- Troubleshooting ability is required
- A high school diploma or GED is required
- Follow company policies and safe work practices to prevent injury to yourself and other associates
- Immediately correct unsafe behaviors and immediately correct/report any unsafe work condition.
- Assist set up technicians in start-up style changes if needed.
- Repair break downs.
- Assist in removal and installations of patterns as needed on all machines.
- Perform all long- term scheduled maintenance and lubrication.
- Complete assigned maintenance work orders.
- Assist other mechanics with special breakdowns as required.
- Repair parts as needed.
- Work on machines with running mechanical defects following quality control guidelines.
- Must be willing to work overtime and weekends as needed
- Good verbal and written communication skills are needed
- Basic computer skills are required
