Glen Raven Custom Fabrics, a global leading manufacturer of performance fabrics, is currently seeking a Section Leader II for the Planning Department
** The regular hours for this job will be 1st shift 8am to 4pm, with flexibility to work 2nd and 3rd shift as needed **

Job Responsibilities:

  • Order all weaving filling for the weaving department for all 3 shifts
  • Allocate filling to orders
  • Own the monthly and year-end inventory for weaving
  • Maintain all weaving filling on the floor
  • Establish weekly cycle count procedure for all weaving filling
  • Correct and match the floor count to Jomar
  • Measure warps in the morning to determine which machines will need more orders
  • Audit filling haulers accuracy reporting production/ printing tickets
  • Maintain accurate speeds and efficiency #'s in Barco and Jomar

Job Requirements:

  • Bias for action, especially regarding Safety and Quality
  • Must be dependable and possess a strong work ethic
  • Excellent interpersonal skills required
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Must have strong computer skills
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office Word, Outlook and Excel
  • Experience in or ability to learn Jomar system
