Glen Raven Custom Fabrics, a global leading manufacturer of performance fabrics, is currently seeking a Section Leader II for the Planning Department
** The regular hours for this job will be 1st shift 8am to 4pm, with flexibility to work 2nd and 3rd shift as needed **
Job Responsibilities:
- Order all weaving filling for the weaving department for all 3 shifts
- Allocate filling to orders
- Own the monthly and year-end inventory for weaving
- Maintain all weaving filling on the floor
- Establish weekly cycle count procedure for all weaving filling
- Correct and match the floor count to Jomar
- Measure warps in the morning to determine which machines will need more orders
- Audit filling haulers accuracy reporting production/ printing tickets
- Maintain accurate speeds and efficiency #'s in Barco and Jomar
Job Requirements:
- Bias for action, especially regarding Safety and Quality
- Must be dependable and possess a strong work ethic
- Excellent interpersonal skills required
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Must have strong computer skills
- Ability to use Microsoft Office Word, Outlook and Excel
- Experience in or ability to learn Jomar system
