What are the responsibilities and job description for the Financial Systems Analyst position at Glen Raven?
Glen Raven is recruiting for a Financial Systems Analyst, which will provide technical support for multiple financial software applications. Applicant must have a thorough understanding of accounting to support the systems. Will require the ability to work with users of different skill levels. Knowledge of SQL Plus is required. Must be a problem solver.
Responsibilities :
- Support Oracle Financial Applications - responsible for application setup, testing and resolving issues within the application. Setups include new terms codes, customers, bank accounts, vendors and GL account code validations
- Use of SQL Plus to correct AR sales files, AR Customer Files, GL imports and AP invoice imports. Additional coding will be required as new projects are implemented. Will handle issues with errors from feeder systems (Jomar, IBM, Onbase, Ultipro)
- Support of Hyperion Essbase Application - requires detailed accounting knowledge and Excel experience. The ability to develop financial statements and use Excel to develop reports with Smartview Excel add in are required.
- Support Cash Receipt Lockbox applications (mainly troubleshooting errors)
- Support Cash Receipt imaging in the Onbase application
- Support AP invoice imaging solution - requires development of workflows in Onbase and Anydoc (OCR scanning software).
- Scanning support for Fujitsu scanners.
- Concur expense reporting support and importing into GL
- Work with Wells Fargo to coordinate the processing of positive pay files, bank recon files and automatic wires.
- Develop Excel and BI Reports.
- Should be able to handle software installations and upgrades for accounting specific projects
Education and Experience :
Oracle Apps, SQL Plus, Hyperion, Essbase, Onbase, Anydoc, Concur, Oracle Reports, XML Publisher.
