What are the responsibilities and job description for the Shipping Associate position at Glen's Surplus Sales Inc.?
This position is in our shipping department. This is a fast paced environment! Warehouse setting, so hot in the summer and cold in the winter. Physical requirements are bending, lifting, walking. standing, stretching, and reaching. A great eye for detail is necessary to differentiate between part numbers that are being shipped.
The hours are:
Monday, Wednesday-Friday 9:00am-5:00pm.
Tuesday 9:00am-3:00pm
-Using information from pick ticket to pull items for orders.
-Packing items into boxes following shipping guidelines from each carrier ie. Fedex or USPS.
-Restocking items daily in shipping areas and on store floor.
-Clean up and various item stocking on sales floor.
-Lifting under 50lbs, Bending, Standing, Walking, Hot/Cold Warehouse Conditions.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: From $12.50 per hour
