Job Title: Front Gate Attendant
Job Summary: The Front Gate Attendant is responsible for monitoring and controlling access to the property, ensuring security protocols are followed, and providing excellent customer service to visitors, membership, and staff. The attendant will also perform routine security checks and assist in maintaining the overall safety of the premises.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Monitor Access:
o Greet and verify identification of members, visitors, and staff.
o Ensure that only authorized individuals are allowed entry onto the property.
o Control vehicle and pedestrian traffic at the front gate.
o Log all Members and Visitors daily
o Notify staff of guests, appointments, and info pertinent to the front gate access.
2. Customer Service:
o Provide assistance to Membership and visitors with directions, inquiries, golfing and other needs.
o Address and direct questions, concerns or complaints promptly and professionally to management and appropriate personnel
o Maintain a friendly, approachable, polite, and professional demeanor.
3. Security, and Daily Logging:
o Report any unusual or suspicious activity to direct reports.
o Keep a professional and polite allocation of the area for safety and security purposes.
o Enforce property rules and regulations, such as parking restrictions and refusal of visitors without appointments.
o Maintain accurate records of visitors, deliveries, and incidents.
o Prepare reports as needed for security management or property management.
4. Emergency Response:
o Respond to emergencies (e.g., medical, fire, or security issues) according to established protocols.
o Communicate effectively with management, and emergency responders when needed.
5. Maintain Clean and Safe Area:
o Ensure the gate area is clean and well-organized.
o Maintain the appearance of the front gate, signage, and surrounding areas.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Required:
o High school diploma or equivalent.
o Excellent communication skills.
o Ability to work independently and stay alert during shifts.
o Basic knowledge of security protocols.
o Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Preferred:
o Previous experience in security, hospitality, or customer service.
o CPR and First Aid certified.
o Familiarity with security systems and surveillance equipment.
Working Conditions:
- Must be able to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to stand or sit for extended periods.
- May require outdoor work in various weather conditions.
- Job requirements of the position between the hours of Wednesday-Monday between 6am and 3pm/3pm-9pm
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
Schedule:
- 4 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
