What are the responsibilities and job description for the COTA position at Glenbeigh Hospital?
Provides occupational therapy treatment to assigned patients under the direction of the Occupational Therapist in accordance with the agency policies and procedures and the physician care plan. Maintains timely communications with the supervising OT and others involved in the care of the patient.
Traveling to patient's homes in a 60-mile radius in all kinds of weather. Must be able to access a wide variety of home structures. Involves dealing with frequent changes, stressful situations, and need to problem solve.
- Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapist Assistant program.
- Required Length and Type of Experience
- Minimum one year clinical experience as a licensed OTA in an acute, rehab or skilled nursing setting.
- Required Licensure or Certification
- Current OTA licensure in the State of Ohio. Current CPR certification. Valid Ohio Driver's license and current auto insurance 100,000/300,000 coverage.
