The rate of pay for this position will be on an hourly basis. Overtime pay is available!

Required Qualifications:
All applicants should have the ability to:
Operate standard hand operated machinery used in golf course maintenance. I. E. (Rotary push mower, string trimmer, edger.)
Learn how to follow a regular program of cleaning and service of clubhouse bathrooms, parking lots, clubhouse areas and course bathrooms.
Learn how to grade and prepare a soil plant bed, lays sod, plants, vegetative materials, and pull weeds in bed.
Learn how to change cups and tee markers, maintain ball washers, hazards, and bunkers.
Operate light equipment in hauling materials and removing debris.
Trim trees, prune shrubbery, and cultivate shrubs and flowers.
Understand basic maintenance of flowerbeds including planting, watering, weed removal and trimming.
Perform other duties as appropriate.
WORKING CONDITIONS
Outside weather conditions with moderate to loud noise level.
Exposure to dust, equipment exhaust fumes, and mechanical parts.
Must be in good physical condition and have the ability to use shovels, rakes and other hand tools as well as the ability to lift a minimum of 50 Lbs.
Must have the visual and hearing acuity to perform job related activities and the ability to spend up to 100% of work time performing physical labor.
Must have basic communication skills and be able to understand basic English.
Must have a valid driver’s license.
Maintain a positive attitude and promote the Glencoe Golf Club and the Village of Glencoe at all times.
Must pass a physical and drug test.
HOURS
A standard work week will consist of 40 hours Monday- Sunday. Overtime is available and will be assigned by supervisors.
Job Type: Seasonal/Part-time
Salary: $17.00-$20.00 per hour based on experience
