Position: Nutrition Services Cook Department: Nutrition Services Location: Glencoe, MN Remote Work: No Position Type: On-call Hours Per 2-week Pay Period: not regularly scheduled Shift: Days/Evenings Schedule: 6am-2:30pm or 9am-5:30pm or 11am-7:30pm Weekend Rotation: No Holiday Rotation: No Position Summary: The Nutrition Services Cook is responsible for preparing high quality, nutritious and attractive food for GRH customers. This position prepares meals according to menu production sheets. Adheres to standardization of recipes and portion control. The Cook serves as a leader within the Nutrition Services Department by providing direction to Nutrition Services staff, promotes a safe and sanitary work environment, and initiates/encourages a well-functioning team. Required Skills and Abilities:
- Must be a minimum of 18 years of age
- Basic computer knowledge required
- Must work efficiently with frequent interruptions.
- Has ability to reprioritize tasks throughout shift
- ServSafe certification is a plus
- 1-2 years of experience in food service preferred
