Position: Radiologic Technologist Department: Medical Imaging Location: Glencoe, MN Remote Work: No Position Type: Full Time Hour Per 2-week Pay Period: 64 Shift: Evenings Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday from 3pm-11pm, Thursday from 11am-7:30pm Weekend Rotation: None Holiday Rotation: 1-2 holidays/year Position Summary: The Radiologic Technologist works under the direct clinical supervision of the radiologist in producing high quality radiographs and computer images consistent with procedure, protocols, patient conditions, physical abilities and age specific requirements. Screens all patients prior to contrast administration and uses best practices in radiation protection to protect patients, fellow staff members and self. Performs procedures with high degree of accuracy. Provides on the job training as required and instruction for students during their rotation. Education and Experience:
- Graduate from an AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology, either college affiliated, or hospital trained.
- Registered with the ARRT
- CT experience, board certified a plus
- MR or Mammo trained/certified helpful, but not required
- Current BLS certification
- Windows-based computer knowledge
- Work in a fast-paced environment and remain customer focused
- Team player with ability to work autonomously
- Possesses good critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Adheres to strict patient privacy practices
- Adjusts resources to meet the needs of the situation with confidence and good judgement
- Pass MN Department of Human Services background study
- Previous EMR experience helpful; Excellian knowledge a plus!
