Schedule: Mon-Friday, 7am-3:30pm, schedule flexibility is required for system maintenance, installations, and other assignments as needed.
Weekend Rotation: future rotating call rotation
Holiday Rotation: future call rotation
Position Summary:
The IT Service Desk Coordinator provides first-level technical support for issues related to personal computers (PCs), software, and associated devices. Responsibilities include responding to technical support requests via phone, email, and in-person; documenting and tracking issues; and ensuring timely resolution. The role also involves maintaining IT service desk operations, including call logging and user support.
Education and Experience:
- Associate degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Recommended technical competencies:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Windows, Office, IT Service Management (ITSM) tools, and other common enterprise applications.
- Experience troubleshooting desktops, laptops, peripherals, and printers.
- Fundamental understanding of networking concepts and ITIL best practices.
Required Skills and Abilities:
- Self-motivated and able to work independently.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities, including phone etiquette.
- Effective problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Compensation and Benefits:
Compensation decisions are made based off of several factors including relevant work experience, education, certification and licensure as well as internal equity. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at the top of their hourly range.
Hourly Range: $23.11 to $32.34
