Hours Per 2-week Pay Period: 40 hours per two week pay period
Shift: Evenings
Schedule: 3:00PM-11:30PM
Weekend Rotation: Every other weekend
Holiday Rotation: Yes
Position Summary:
This position is responsible for monitoring all residents, family/visitor concerns, staffing needs, general welfare and safety of all residents and employees. He/She will observe the resident care in their designated area/s. The Licensed Practical Nurse/Registered Nurse is responsible for following facility policies and procedures, for notifying appropriate authorities and administration about any unusual problems and/or situations that may arise during their shift.
Education and Experience:
- Must be graduate of an accredited school of nursing and possess a current License Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse license from the State of Minnesota. License must be in good standing.
- Must have current BLS healthcare provider certification.
Required Skills and Abilities:
- A true passion for working with Gerontological Nursing.
- Compassion and empathy are a key component in this role and an expectation for our nursing staff.
- Strong communication skills are required. Must be able to communicate with tact and professionalism.
- Previous EMR experience a plus!
Compensation and Benefits:
Compensation decisions are made based off of several factors including relevant work experience, education, certification and licensure as well as internal equity. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at the top of their hourly range.
Hourly Range:
LPN $28.10 to $38.77
RN (AD) $38.03 to $58.46
RN (BSN) $39.26 to $60.37
