Schedule: Nutrition Services Aide 6am-2:30pm: Week 1 & 3 - Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Week 2 & 4 - Monday, Tuesday, Friday.
Homemaker 6:30am-3pm: Week 2 & 4 - Saturday, Sunday
Weekend Rotation: Yes
Holiday Rotation: Yes
Position Summary:
The Nutrition Services Aide is responsible for a variety of duties that contribute to providing high quality food services to all GRH customers. Common tasks include meal service to our residents, patients, and/or cafeteria customers and assisting with mealtime and kitchen cleanup. The aide works with the Nutrition Services team to provide a safe and sanitary environment and demonstrates strong customer service with willingness to provide the best possible outcome for the consumer.
The Homemaker is responsible for a variety of duties within Nutrition Services that provide high quality food service to LTC residents. Common tasks include meal service to our residents, mealtime setup and cleanup to help maintain a clean, sanitary, safe, and attractive dining room within the household. The Homemaker demonstrates willingness to provide the best possible service for the residents as part of a multidisciplinary team. The Homemaker works cooperatively with residents, co-workers, families, visitors, and volunteers to create a positive and pleasant dining experience for the residents, making it as home-like as possible.
All Household staff are members of a self-directed team assigned to a household of 18 residents. Their purpose is to plan and coordinate resident care creating a home-like feel in order to help residents establish a sense of belonging, usefulness, and purpose within their daily lives.
Required Skills and Abilities:
- Must be a minimum of 16 years of age
- Basic computer knowledge required
- ServSafe certification is a plus as well as previous or current cooking experience/ knowledge.

The Homemaker will receive on-the-job training in dietary duties and responsibilities.

All Homemakers must be able to read, write, and speak English.

Must work efficiently with frequent interruptions.
Compensation and Benefits:
Compensation decisions are made based off of several factors including relevant work experience, education, certification and licensure as well as internal equity. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at the top of their hourly range.

Homemaker:
$17.53 to $22.86
