Schedule: 6am-2:30pm or 9am-5:30pm or 11am-7:30pm

Position Summary:
The Nutrition Services Cook is responsible for preparing high quality, nutritious and attractive food for GRH customers. This position prepares meals according to menu production sheets. Adheres to standardization of recipes and portion control. The Cook serves as a leader within the Nutrition Services Department by providing direction to Nutrition Services staff, promotes a safe and sanitary work environment, and initiates/encourages a well-functioning team.
Required Skills and Abilities:
- Must be a minimum of 18 years of age
- Basic computer knowledge required
- Must work efficiently with frequent interruptions.
- Has ability to reprioritize tasks throughout shift
- ServSafe certification is a plus
- 1-2 years of experience in food service preferred
Compensation and Benefits:
Compensation decisions are made based off of several factors including relevant work experience, education, certification and licensure as well as internal equity. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at the top of their hourly range.
Hourly Range:
$18.32 to $23.89
