JOB SUMMARY
Under the direct supervision of the Director of Support Services, the Inventory & Receiving Coordinator will be responsible for the maintaining and organization of inventory supplies as well as package disbursement and retrieval for the Glencroft Campus. The Inventory & Receiving Coordinator will possess a genuine interest in and concern for geriatric, chronically ill and / or disabled persons.
PRIMARY ACCOUNTABILITY
The Inventory & Receiving Coordinator will report to the Director of Support Services and must have hands-on familiarity with the established practices and procedures in equipment supply systems. Must possess good written and oral communication skills, being able to understand written and oral instructions. Must be able to fluently communicate in or to take or give direction or guidance in the English language.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Regular attendance is considered an essential function of this position and is necessary for the efficient operation of the business.
- Participates in compiling orders, placing orders, receiving stock, verifying correct receipt of stock, documenting shortages, labeling stock, shelving stock, distributing stock to various departments and making appropriate computer entries.
- Participates in maintaining adequate and appropriate par levels of all supplies and equipment; maintains a clean, organized work area.
- Demonstrates high productivity and multitasking capabilities.
- Participates in audits and monitors and maintains adequate supply for the Support Services Department.
- Utilizes scanning system to track equipment and supply usage.
- Participates in inventory control including monthly inventory records and annual inventory physical count; monitors and tracks facility equipment and rented equipment.
- Participates in "in-service" education and training.
- Establishes and maintains good rapport with interdepartmental and intradepartmental personnel and effective communication with other departmental personnel.
- Places restock orders with vendors in accordance with facility needs and departmental requisitions; relays purchase order information and changes to the Director of Support Services.
- Exhibits professional communication skills via phone, email, posted documentation, and in person interactions.
- Performs all duties of the Inventory & Receiving Coordinator competently and with a positive and cooperative attitude.
- Stays up-to-date with current policies and procedures of and relating to Support Services and Glencroft; adheres to all guidelines in the Glencroft Employee Handbook including but not limited to the attendance and cell phone policies.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
