Job Summary

This position is a support position that pulls out students and / or pushes into classrooms to provide intervention and support at the TK-6 level.

Requirements / Qualifications

Credential Required : Applicants must hold a valid California Multiple Subject Credential and must hold an English Learner Authorization such as a CLAD, BCLAD, ELA1, or ELAM.

Glendale Unified is seeking dynamic educators who exhibit :

  • Effective skills in working with English Learner (EL) students
  • Strong pedagogical skills
  • Breadth of experience in educational technology
  • Instruction with a 21st Century perspective

  • Three letters of recommendation (preferably within the last six months and from at least one direct supervisor)

  • English Learner Authorization (see above)
  • Proof of passing of (California Basic Educational Skills Test) CBEST or equivalent
  • Unofficial Transcripts (copies of all college coursework credits)

    Once the District has tentatively offered employment, a candidate must submit evidence of freedom from tuberculosis and proof of COVID vaccination, pre-employment physical exam (district-paid), and fingerprint clearance with the Department of Justice. Applicants will also be required to provide official transcripts from relevant coursework to determine salary placement.
